Introduction
The following information is based on six years experience and experimentation of sowing Oilseed Rape with an Autocast under chopped straw on heavy clay soils in Cambridgeshire. There are other options such as removing the straw, and also light cultivations with or without straw removal which can be as equally and in some cases more successful . There has been  feedback from other users of the system over the last three seasons.
